    0 Benjamin Franklin Banknote Commemorative Coin
    Redesigned in order to stay ahead of counterfeiters, the new 0 bill features a noticeably larger portrait of founding father Benjamin Franklin along with several colorful deterrents including the state-of-the-art 3D security ribbon. The new one hundred-dollar banknote was originally scheduled to be released into circulation in February 2011. However, the U.S. Treasury announced that a significant production problem with the new high-tech 0 bills had caused government printers to halt production of the new banknotes. Eventually the issues were resolved and finally, in 2013 - more than 3 years behind schedule - the new 0 banknotes were released.
    Luxuriously layered in 24k gold and minted to the highest quality "Proof " standard, this dazzling commemorative coin features a full-color reproduction of the newly designed 0 bill. Framing the photo-realistic inset is a highly detailed engraving of Independence Hall just as it is featured on the reverse of the original banknote.
