    2001-W Capitol Visitor Center Gold Coin PCGS MS69
    The 2001 Capitol Visitor gold coin was issued for the proposed Visitor Center to the U.S. Capitol.
    The obverse of coin depicts the top of a Corinthian column.
    The reverse features a view of the Capitol circa 1800.
    Both the obverse and reverse were designed by Elizabeth Jones, former Chief Engraver of the United States Mint.
    The coins were produced at the West Point Mint.
    This coin was minted in very small numbers which makes it in-demand and valuable.
