Battle of the Dragons Pewter Chess Set

Glass Chess Board and
Themed Polyresin Platform
As with all of our chess sets, this is a complete 32 Piece set.
We don't show all of the pieces in the picture because then
it gets too crowded and you can not see the magnificent detail.
Our apologies if this page takes a little longer to load than normal.
Quite frankly, this is such a phenomenal set that we got a little carried away with the camera.
But if you are looking for a trophy set to be the centerpiece of your collection it is worth the wait.

The Glass chess board has alternating clear and frosted squares to let the platform show through.
And this is what the base looks like without the board
The superbly detailed and imaginative chess pieces are crafted in fine Pewter
ranging in size from 3" tall Kings to 2 1/4" tall Pawns.
The Glass chess board has individual squares of 1 1/2" for an overall playing surface of 12"
and an overall size of 13 1/2" square by 1/4" thick.
Included is a highly imaginative cold cast polyresin platform
measuring 15 1/2" by 15 1/2" by 5 1/4" to the top of the turrets.
This is such a beautiful set that, even when you are not playing,
it deserves to be left out just to show the world
"Hey, look what I got !!!"
But if you do decide to put it away,
all of the pieces slide into a custom fitted foam storage tray with individual slots for each piece.
Just a Head's Up
With metal pieces, a glass board and a themed platform,
this set has a shipping weight of about 25 pounds
which is 5 to 6 times heavier than most typical chess sets.
We mention this to minimize the "sticker shock" you may suffer
when you see the shipping charges.
They are beyond our control.
