    Fully tested National Instruments (NI) PXI-8431/2, 2-port RS485/RS422 interface module for PXI. The module testing included passing all NI Serial troubleshooting self-tests for module and each port, and an external loopback test of each port which included control/handshake lines. The module has assembly part # 189564C-02L, representative module shown, with same assembly part number/revision.. This listing is for PXI-8431/2 module only, nothing else is included. NI-Serial software, if required, can be downloaded from NI website.
    Product information-
    The PXI‑8431/2 is a high-performance interface for high-speed communication with RS485 and RS422 devices. It features high-performance DMA transfers, multithreading, and multiprocessor support. You can also select between 4‑ and 2‑wire transceiver modes for full- and half-duplex communication. NI serial interfaces also appear as standard COM ports for compatibility with programs that use serial communications.
    Flexible standard and nonstandard baud rates for data transmissions between 2 b/s and 3 Mb/s to within 1.3% accuracy for nonstandard baud rates and 0.01% accuracy for standard baud rates
    Compatible with Windows and LabVIEW Real-Time OSs
    Selectable 4-wire and 2-wire transceiver modes for full-duplex and half-duplex communication
